The Turning Point for Life in the center of the Friedensmal was inaugurated on May 14, 2017, in the framework of the Encounter Celebration between the Jewish Chabad congregation from Karlsruhe and locals.

Guests, Rabbi Mordechai Mendelson and the German bard Eloas Lachenmayr.
The Rabbi placed the Turning Point at 2:00 p.m., the new center of the Blossom of Life with the inscription „Chai“ (alive). He inaugurated the Turning Point and blesses this site with a reading of psalm 126. - Life is sacred. 'Recognize the Sacred Within and Around You' is the inscription on the entrance to the Friedensmal (monument).
Then, at 3 p.m., there was a heavy rain and then a full rainbow towards Jerusalem appeared on the horizon above the Friedensmal.
